The AMICO University Testbed: 1998/1999

In the 1998/99 Academic Year AMICO conducted a major project: studies of users and uses on University campuses with 16 universities. In the study, users accessed a beta version of The AMICO Library in order to propose ways to improve the first public release of The AMICO Library scheduled for the 1999/2000 Academic Year.

A wide range of research projects, using different methodologies and focused on different sub-groups of university users, sought answers about who uses what kinds of art information for what purposes and explored the functions required to be more productive in these uses.
